Last updated: 15 July 2026. By using Cadet AI you agree to these terms. Please read them. They're short and in plain English.
Cadet AI is for cadets aged 13 and over. You must be at least 13 to create an account; under-13s cannot create an account. If you are under 18, use Cadet AI with your parent or guardian’s knowledge. By using the app you confirm you meet this age requirement.
Cadet AI is an independent study aid to help cadets revise. It is not an official MOD, Army Cadet Force, Combined Cadet Force or Cadet Forces product, it is not endorsed by them, and it does not represent or speak for them. It is not a replacement for your unit’s qualified instructors or official training. Always follow the guidance of your staff, especially for assessments and anything safety-related.
TANGO is a study aid and AI can make mistakes. Treat its answers as revision support and verify important facts with your instructors and official training. Don’t rely on it for medical, legal, safety-critical or other professional advice. Please don’t type sensitive personal information into TANGO.
Keep your login details private and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@cadetai.co.uk if you think someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time from in-app Settings.
Use Cadet AI for your own training and revision. Please don’t misuse it. For example, don’t try to break or overload the service, scrape or copy its content at scale, attempt to access other people’s data, upload harmful content, or use it for anything unlawful or against your cadet code of conduct.
Cadet AI rewards genuine training: XP, badges, ranks and leaderboard places are meant to reflect real revision. Please don’t try to game them: don’t exploit bugs, use automated tools or scripts, tamper with the app, or use any other trick to earn rewards, ranks or leaderboard positions you haven’t genuinely earned. If you find a bug or a way to cheat, please tell us at support@cadetai.co.uk rather than using it.
If we find rewards, ranks or leaderboard entries that were gained unfairly, we may correct or reset them and remove entries from the leaderboard. For deliberate, serious or repeated cheating we may also suspend or, as a last resort, close the account. We’ll always act proportionately, and where we reasonably can we’ll let you know first.
Cadet AI is an independent study aid, not affiliated with or endorsed by the MOD, ACF or CCF. Any third-party names or trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. The Cadet AI app, branding, and original content are ours or our licensors’. You’re given a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for revision; please don’t copy or redistribute it.
We’re a small project and provide Cadet AI on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change or pause features, and we may update these terms; we’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
To the extent the law allows, Cadet AI isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by relying on the app instead of official training or instructors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including our 13+ age handling and your rights. By using Cadet AI you also agree to that policy.
Cadet AI is free to download and use. Cadet AI Premium is an optional paid subscription available in two tiers, Plus and Pro, that raise your daily limits and unlock extra features such as matched character voice playback, timed mock assessments, smart mistake review and (on Pro) unlimited quizzes. The free version stays usable without paying; Plus and Pro simply raise the limits and add extras.
Plans & price. Premium comes in two tiers, Plus and Pro, each offered as a monthly or a yearly plan (the yearly plan works out cheaper per month). The exact current price for your country is always shown in Google Play and in the app before you confirm; that displayed price is the one that applies. At the time of writing, UK prices are Plus £4.99/month or £44.99/year and Pro £9.99/month or £89.99/year.
Free trial. The Plus and Pro monthly plans include a 7-day free trial (the annual plans do not). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription and you will be charged the price shown. You can cancel any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (each month, or each year) at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your payment method is charged through your Google account at the start of each period.
How to cancel. You can cancel any time from Google Play → Subscriptions, or via the Manage Subscription link in the app’s Settings. Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for the following period. When you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not give partial refunds for the unused part of a period except where the law requires it.
Payment & billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us. Google handles the payment and your card details; we never see or store them. Your purchase is also subject to Google Play’s own terms.
Refunds & your statutory rights. Refunds are normally handled under Google Play’s refund policy, and this is in addition to your legal rights. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content should match its description and be of satisfactory quality. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content, but by starting your subscription or free trial and getting immediate access to Premium, you ask us to begin supply straight away and you acknowledge that you lose that 14-day cancellation right once access has started.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices in future. For an existing subscription, Google Play will notify you in advance and, where required, ask you to agree before any increase takes effect. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Under-18s. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission before buying a subscription or making any purchase, and you should only use their payment method with their consent. Google’s Family Link “ask to buy” approval may apply to your account.
Fair use. “Unlimited” features (such as quizzes and mock assessments on Pro) are intended for normal personal study and are subject to fair use. To keep Cadet AI reliable and affordable for everyone, we apply reasonable limits (for example, generous daily limits and short anti-spam rate limits), and we may adjust them. We may also temporarily limit, suspend, or withdraw access (including for Premium accounts) if we detect misuse, automated or abusive activity, or a security problem such as a compromised account. We’ll act proportionately and, where we reasonably can, let you know.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions? Email support@cadetai.co.uk.
