Last updated: 6 June 2026. By using Cadet AI you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're short and in plain English.
Cadet AI is for cadets aged 13 and over. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 13, you need a parent or guardian to set things up and agree to these terms on your behalf — we don’t knowingly create accounts for under-13s. By using the app you confirm you meet this age requirement.
Cadet AI is an independent study aid to help cadets revise. It is not an official MOD, Army Cadet Force, Combined Cadet Force or Cadet Forces product, it is not endorsed by them, and it does not represent or speak for them. It is not a replacement for your unit’s qualified instructors or official training — always follow the guidance of your staff, especially for assessments and anything safety-related.
TANGO answers from official MOD Army Cadet training pamphlets and cites its sources so you can check them. AI can still make mistakes, so treat TANGO as a study aid: verify important facts against the cited pamphlet and your instructors. Don’t rely on it for medical, legal, safety-critical or other professional advice. Please don’t type sensitive personal information into TANGO.
Keep your login details private and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@cadetai.co.uk if you think someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time from in-app Settings.
Use Cadet AI for your own training and revision. Please don’t misuse it — for example, don’t try to break or overload the service, scrape or copy its content at scale, attempt to access other people’s data, upload harmful content, or use it for anything unlawful or against your cadet code of conduct.
Training material referenced by Cadet AI comes from publicly available official Army Cadet pamphlets and remains the property of their respective owners. The Cadet AI app, branding, and original content are ours or our licensors’. You’re given a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for revision; please don’t copy or redistribute it.
We’re a small project and provide Cadet AI on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change or pause features, and we may update these terms — we’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
To the extent the law allows, Cadet AI isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by relying on the app instead of official training or instructors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including our 13+ age handling and your rights. By using Cadet AI you also agree to that policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions? Email support@cadetai.co.uk.
